The Soldier's Mission: Episode One

It is almost winter. The branches quietly whip in the wind. 

You are in the heart of the Exclusion Zone, and you find the Zone’s treasure — a strange and mysterious tower. At the hiding place, you see that it is well guarded: ten guards stand just outside the main entrance, and around thirty, ever on the alert, are patrolling around it. 

You are silent, waiting for something about to happen. 

The scent of blood, metallic and stale, is in the air. The guards have been ordered to leave everything in this Zone unspoken. They, obediently, get used to the combined smell of the fire, concrete, corpse and excretion here. Nobody seems to tremble and have the deep, sickening feeling inside the bones. 

But that is the strong survival-relevant olfactory cue for what is happening inside the tower. 

Suddenly, the big guns boom in the distance and something huge collapses and you start your mission…
